WILLEMSTAD - The opposition parliament smells its chance and plans to table a no-confidence motion on Thursday. This was announced by Gilmar "Pik" Pisas, former interim prime minister and faction leader of the largest opposition party MFK.
The voting ratio in parliament is currently 10-10, due to the withdrawal of government support by former PIN member Rennox Calmes.
On Thursday, parliament should meet to install the 21st Member of Parliament, Marilyn Alcalá-Wallé. Sources indicate that not everyone in the PAR’s faction will accept her because of the criminal investigation against her.
