WILLEMSTAD - Orco Bank’s representatives Ms. Giselle Goilo and Ms. Vanessa Chong were present to celebrate the official unveiling of the new Inky Binky Bib library at Berg Carmel College.
At the start of 2022, Berg Carmel College approached its sponsors, including Orco Bank, with the wish to restore their existing library located at Poncaweg, Groot Kwartier. Orco Bank proudly contributed in June of 2017 to the creation of this beautiful library 5 years ago and made sure to continue its support for this project in 2022.
Berg Carmel College’s library now contains new books, all sorted according to various subjects of interest to the children such as animals, horror/thriller, adventure and science with advanced software to categorize its extensive book collection. Berg Carmel College counts with a group of dedicated parents, a committed group of volunteers that frequently reads with the children and enthusiastic teachers that together make initiatives such as these a reality for the pupils of the school!
Orco Bank is proud to see the happy faces of Berg Carmel College’s pupils that will join the challenge to read all the books in the Inky Binky Bib library! We recommend all children of the island to visit their school’s library or Biblioteka Nashonal Kòrsou and start their journey reading a book today.
