WILLEMSTAD - Orco Bank proudly reiterated its commitment to the Ride, Walk& Swim for the Roses event as the main sponsor from 2024 through 2026. The 18th edition of this prestigious event is scheduled for Sunday, January 28th, 2024, marking a celebration of unity and support for cancer research in Curaçao.
As mentioned at the annual Press Conference held on November 21st, 2023, Mrs. Désirée AlbertoMartina, the Managing Director of Orco Bank, reiterated the bank's steadfast dedication to community welfare by announcing continued sponsorship for this significant event. The Ride, Walk & Swim for the Roses event has been a symbol of resilience and solidarity, showcasing participants’ endurance through cycling, running, swimming, and sailing while rallying behind the cause of cancer research in Curaçao. Expressing gratitude for the continuous support, Mrs. Alberto-Martina highlighted, "Together, we are making a difference, one pedal, one stride, one stroke, and one sail at a time."
In a bid to offer added convenience, Orco Bank has introduced new payment methods for participants registering for the event. Participants can now conveniently make payments using their Orco Bank Online or the Orco Bank App.
The process involves creating a bill payment following the simple steps outlined below:
• After completing the registration for the Ride for the Roses 2024 event via https://ridefortheroses.net/registration/, you will receive an email, which contains all details of your registration, including a unique “6-digits” registration number.
• Using the Orco Bank Online or the Orco Bank App, you can now simply create a new ‘Transfer' and input the amount that corresponds with your registration for example ANG 25.00 for the 5K Walk for an adult.
• Click on the Address Book icon and choose 'Stichting Ride for the Roses (CUR)' from the Companies tab.
• In the Invoice template, enter your 6-digit registration number, as indicated on your Ride for the Roses registration form, along with your Name and Last Name as per registration.
• ‘Submit’ the transfer and proceed to approve payment as usual.
Participants are urged to make unique payments per registration number to ensure smooth processing and matching of payments when collecting t-shirts for participation.
Furthermore, Orco Bank is facilitating Point of Sale (POS) terminals, allowing participants to make debit card payments during t-shirt pick-up scheduled during the week of January 22nd till 27th at Orco Bank at Landhuis Cerrito, Schottegatweg Oost z/n.
