WILLEMSTAD – A session was recently held to allow staff members of the Department of Public Works (OW) to meet and connect with Wendell Bonafacio in his new role as interim director. The initiative was organized to strengthen internal cooperation and promote a closer working relationship between management and employees.
During the session, the Secretary-General of the Ministry of VVRP outlined the framework for welcoming Bonafacio into what was described as the wider VVRP family, with specific responsibility for Public Works.
Fadila Poese, chief of staff to Minister of Finance Charles Cooper, conveyed the minister’s full support for efforts aimed at optimizing the organization and improving internal functioning.
Interim director Wendell Bonafacio emphasized that progress for both Public Works and Curaçao can only be achieved through collaboration and collective effort.
Staff members were given the opportunity to ask questions and share ideas and suggestions, contributing to an open and constructive exchange during the session.
