WILLEMSTAD - The coalition party PAR does not yet dare to take a clear political position regarding the top salaries of directors of governmental companies. PAR faction leader Ana Maria Pauletta MP finds the salaries too high but does not yet want to comment on the appropriate level of salaries of top executives of these government-related entities.
According to Pauletta, it is time to give substance to the national ordinance related entities and in particular to the salaries of directors of the companies. She thinks the current salary is absurdly high.
Pauletta regrets that the salaries have been made public. The documents were leaked from the tax authorities and she finds that terrible. According to the Member of Parliament, the citizen must be able to trust that information is safe with the tax authorities.
