WILLEMSTAD - The opposition party PAR wants a meeting of parliament about the baseline measurement in education. That is what the four PAR members ask in a letter to the President of Parliament Charetti America-Francisca.
This is because the deadline for a response from stakeholders, including the government, is already the end of this month. The parliamentarians would like to receive an explanation of the report from the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport Sithree van Heydoorn.
The PAR would like to know the minister's interpretation of the results of the measurement as soon as possible, so that parliament can then give a well-considered response.
