WILLEMSTAD - A motion was passed yesterday in the Curaçao parliament that supports the government of Curaçao in all its attempts to borrow the remaining 200 million guilders for the new hospital. That amount is needed to complete the hospital.
Earlier financing from local banks was not ratified by the Governor. A meeting about this was held in parliament yesterday.
The coalition parties want to support the government with the motion. According to the coalition MPs, the government must go further on the chosen route, and that is the 200 million guilder loan from the Netherlands under favorable conditions.
