WILLEMSTAD - The planned continuation of a parliamentary meeting on the PSB Bank was postponed yesterday morning.
According to minister Zita Jesus-Leito, the government is currently in discussion with the PSB Bank about a merger with the Girobank. Both banks together may form the new APC Bank. That is the reason why the minister requested for the meeting to be postponed. That will give her ministry and the banks more time to present a proposal which could be then submitted to parliament for debate and ultimately for their approval.
