WILLEMSTAD - Led by party leader Amado 'Broertje Rojer, the group of demonstrators gathered at the Central Bank of Curaçao and Sint Maarten, where State Secretary Alexandra van Huffelen also made an appearance today.
A group of party members and sympathizers of the political party Partido Aliansa Nobo demonstrated this morning against the Caribbean Agency for Reform and Development (COHO).
Rojer explains to reporters present at the scene that Curaçao must be 99 percent independent and only want to cooperate with the Netherlands for one percent. The party leader therefore wants to ask the state secretary for a referendum.
