WILLEMSTAD - The first payments of wage subsidies for the month of May are expected to be paid early next week.
That was announced by Justus Martens of the Emergency Fund Committee in a webinar about the NOW scheme this week.
This is later than planned, due to the slow process with the Netherlands. Curaçao eventually agreed to the strict measures in exchange for a new loan of 204 million guilders.
