WILLEMSTAD - The wage compensation payments for the month of May have been delayed. This is the so-called NOW scheme to accommodate companies so that they can still pay their staff because of the loss of turnover due to the corona crisis.
The funds from the Netherlands were not on time and the information at Social Insurance Bank (SVB) was not yet up to date.
Many companies have therefore had to advance wages. In order not to be late in June, companies can already register for this month before June 15.
