WILLEMSTAD - The new price list for medicines of the Social Insurance Bank (SVB) will lead to a shortage of some medicines.
The Association of Pharmacists states this in an urgent letter. In addition, the rates for some drugs are going up sharply. The fixed prices are below the purchase price, pharmacists will no longer purchase these medicines, according to the letter.
The Pharmacists want to meet as soon as possible with the interim Minister of Public Health, Zita Jesus-Leito. The minister has not said anything yet about this problem.
