WILLEMSTAD - During his speech in the context of the eleventh anniversary of the country of Curaçao, Prime Minister Gilmar Pisas called for unity among the government and population. “Everyone must work together for a better future,” said the Prime Minister.

According to the Premier, it is important that people do not continue to focus on what separates each other, but on what connects. “The government sets the policy, and it is the people who ultimately have to implement and finalize these policies,” Pisas said.

Important factors for the connection between people are norms and values, culture and working on resilience. “We also have to think about what kind of relationship we want with each other on this island, in the Kingdom and at an international level. It is important that everyone participates in this.”
