WILLEMSTAD - Prime Minister Gilmar 'Pik' Pisas (MFK) has received a comprehensive development plan from the Federation of United Cooperatives and Production (FKUP), the cooperative for fisheries and agriculture. This was announced by the Ministry of Health, Environment, and Nature in a press release.
The plan, which addresses thirteen key points for the agriculture, livestock, and fisheries sectors, was presented by Ludson Lucas, chairman of FKUP, during a meeting of eight cooperatives.
During the meeting, Pisas expressed his satisfaction with the plan, highlighting the support from all the cooperatives. He praised the collaboration among the cooperatives and emphasized the importance of a robust agricultural sector for the island's food security.
The Ministry of GMN has already prepared and launched several agricultural projects to further stimulate these sectors.
