WILLEMSTAD - According to Gilmar "Pik" Pisas, Curaçao must "open up" more. That means fewer corona measures, according to the intended new Prime Minister of Curaçao.
Pisas said right after he was sworn in as a Member of Parliament. Pisas will most likely only be in parliament for a short time. He expects to be appointed prime minister within weeks. If Curaçao repeals more rules, according to Pisas, special measures should apply for busy areas such as Rooseveltweg, Caracasbaaiweg and Saliña.
There will still have to be a strict supervision of gatherings there, according to Pisas. The MFK leader says his party will soon request an emergency meeting in parliament to discuss current measures. If it were up to Pisas, that meeting will be held this Friday.
