WILLEMSTAD - The police were attacked in Seru Foruna by a group of residents last weekend. The incident happened when officers wanted to intervene because of the curfew.
Rocks and bottles were thrown from all sides. One officer was injured and taken to the hospital.
The rioters post a video of the riots on social media a day after. Yesterday, with the help of Dutch military personnel and the Royal Netherlands Military Police, the officers tracked down and arrested the bottle-thrower, a 20-year-old man from the neighborhood.
