Police chief tested positive for corona

WILLEMSTAD - A police chief of the internal affairs office has tested positive for the corona virus. This is one of the two infections that were reported last night. This was announced by the Minister of Justice Quincy Girigorie during a press conference.

A process of contact tracing was started immediately. Part of the force is preventively at home, including Chief of Police Raymond Ellis. Jules Ilario takes over the duties of police chief. The police say they are "very vital" and do everything they can to prevent spread.
