WILLEMSTAD - The police ended a party on Brakkeput on Tuesday evening. That happened at 10:45 pm, well after curfew and with more people than allowed.
According to a statement from the police, several patrols went to look after an anonymous tip and discovered the party with fourteen people. Loud music was played, and no social distance was observed.
The police stopped the party and gave all fourteen people a hefty fine. Then everyone was ordered to leave.
In its press release, the police emphasize that they will be extra alert in the coming days. Parties are not allowed, and the police will act immediately. According to the police, not only the organizer of the party, but also all those present will be fined.
