Police intervene in 14 reports of domestic violence

WILLEMSTAD - In the period from June 27 to July 3, the police provided assistance with fourteen reports of domestic violence. The Curaçao Police Force (KPC) reports this in a weekly overview. 

 

In the past week, three cars were stolen and four cars were broken into. The stolen cars were parked on Kaya Calderana, on Seru Loraweg and at a supermarket. It concerns vehicles of the model Kia Picanto and Kia Rio.  

 

The police also reported four burglaries. The break-ins took place in the early morning hours on Camaliaweg, Kaya Adeha, Montaña Rey and Trinidadweg. The burglars entered the houses by forcing the kitchen or back door. Six companies were also visited by burglars. The thieves often entered the buildings at night through the roof or by breaking a door.  

 

The reports of domestic violence took place between 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. The police intervened in incidents in the area between Brakkeput Mei Mei and Seru Fortuna.
