Police release description of missing Dutch tourist

WILLEMSTAD - The police have released the description of the missing Dutch tourist. Daniel Dresden, 45, did not return on Tuesday after a walk in the vicinity of Playa Jeremi.  

 

 

The man is on vacation with his family and so far every morning went for a walk in the area with one of his children. On Tuesday, the man went out alone. When he did not return from his walk, the police were alerted.  

 

An extensive search is underway for Dresden. The Coast Guard helicopter has been deployed and drones with Carmabi thermal imagers are being used. Police say no phone signal was found. The search area has been further expanded to the vicinity of Santa Cruz and Knip 

 

Police are concerned about the tourist's condition, because he only had a liter of water with him. Two photos of Dresden have been released. The 45-year-old man comes from Leiden and is 1.92 meters tall. Anyone with relevant information about the missing person is requested to report this to the police via 911.
