WILLEMSTAD - The Curaçao Police Force (KPC) carried out multiple traffic and safety inspections over the weekend as part of its annual “Fin di Aña sin Zanzaña” campaign — which translates to “Year-End Without Trouble.” The operation focuses on identifying illegal weapons, drugs, and traffic violations to ensure a safer holiday season.

According to a KPC press release, several vehicles were seized during the weekend checks.

“In the areas of Biesheuvel, Kaya Aura Winkel, and Ontarioweg, one car and three motorcycles were confiscated because the required documents were not in order,” the police reported.

More Controls in the Coming Days

KPC announced that inspections will intensify in the days ahead as officers step up efforts to maintain public safety during the busy December period.

The police urge the community to act responsibly and comply with the law, helping to ensure that the end-of-year celebrations proceed safely and without incident.
