WILLEMSTAD - The police have stopped nearly 2500 cars since Monday to check whether the driver is allowed on the road in the context of the license plate of the day which is one of the measures in the fight against the coronavirus.
In total, more than 3000 people were checked. The military officers of the Curaçao Militia were also involved. How many cars were in violation has not been reported.
However, five people were sent home because they did not do any shopping or anything that is allowed on the street.
