Police to check on tinted glass

Local | By Correspondent May 16, 2019

WILLEMSTAD - Starting June 1 this year, the police will intensively check for tinted glass in vehicles on the road. Side windows at the front of the car and the windshield itself must allow at least 70 percent light through.

Many motorists get into trouble because their film does not take into account the light tint that car glass often has from the factory. The police have a special device for measuring light transmission.
