WILLEMSTAD - Development company Porto Kòrsou has presented an alternative plan for the waterfront of the refinery. This side of the site would change into a sustainably built landmark with a harbor.
The landmark is inspired by the Plaza Nobo in the city center. A meeting place with shops, catering, culture and greenery. Porto Kòrsou indicates that it has an extensive network of companies that want to do business and invest in Curaçao.
The plan also includes the realization of a recycling center, a waste-to-energy factory and the development of marinas. Porto Kòrsou explains that the port of Curaçao is very suitable for superyachts and that one superyacht creates 40 jobs.
Porto Kòrsou is an initiative of entrepreneurs based in Curaçao and in the Netherlands that collaborates with international specialists in the field of sustainable, urban and economic developments.
