WILLEMSTAD - Prime Minister Eugene Rhuggenaath has received the first corona vaccination in Curaçao. He was followed by the Interim Minister of Public Health Zita Jesus-Leito and epidemiologist Dr. Izzy Gerstenbluth.
Later, various care workers and elderly people also followed. A vaccine can be administered every ten minutes at the location in the old hospital building SEHOS.
Curaçao started yesterday February 24 with the vaccination against the COVID-19 virus.
