THE HAGUE - Prime Minister Eugene Rhuggenaath paid a courtesy visit to China’s Ambassador to the Netherlands, Mr. Xu Hong.
According to the Prime Minister, this meeting was very positive with an exchange of ideas to further improve cooperation between the two countries. China has been designated as one of the 12 focus countries for Curaçao's foreign policy.
Specific topics that have been discussed are tourism, the logistics hub function and the financial sector, actions against climate change such as renewable energy and also cultural exchange. The Prime Minister has invited the ambassador to visit Curaçao and has also confirmed his acceptance of the invitation to visit China.
