WILLEMSTAD - Curaçao is in a situation in which all efforts must be aimed at the socio-economic recovery and development of the country, whereby as much as possible with united forces is contributed to the reconstruction of our country from a stable base.
The Curaçao Business Association (VBC) and the Chamber of Commerce have taken note of a message in social media in which there is mention of struggles between the two organizations. However, there is by no means any dispute between the two organizations. The organizations distance themselves from the message that has appeared in the media.
The VBC and the Chamber of Commerce attach importance to explaining this. The VBC is an association with members from the private sector, and that the Chamber of Commerce has never been a member of the VBC because of its character. VBC, the Chamber of Commerce together with other stakeholders, such as the government and employee organizations, will focus all their energy in the coming period on what really matters: the development of Curaçao!
