Price checks in shops by young people

Local | By Correspondent February 14, 2022

WILLEMSTAD - Minister of Economic Development (MEO), Ruisandro Cijntje has announced that the ministry will use young people to control prices in supermarkets, minimarkets and tokos.

Cijntje announces this project on his Facebook page. The project, he says, will create more jobs for young people and increase the frequency of price checks in stores.

The project will last three months and six young people are already in training. During this training camp they will learn everything about how to control prices. During the price checks, it is checked whether the maximum prices of products are correct and whether the consumer is not paying too much.
