WILLEMSTAD - Undersecretary of Kingdom Relations Raymond Knops started his working visit to the ABC islands in Willemstad on Saturday. On the first day he was received by Governor Lucille George-Wout. On Sunday, the Undersecretary met Prime Minister Gilmar Pisas. He gave Knops a tour of the neighborhood where he grew up.
Today the Undersecretary will visit Bonaire where he will speak to Lieutenant Governor Edison Rijna, visit the job center Plenchi di Trabou, visit the first home buyers who have made use of the recently introduced Mortgage Guarantee and take a look at the renovated port. A trip to Klein Bonaire is also on the agenda to see how the planting of sabal palms is progressing. Knops will end his working visit in Aruba later this week.
