WILLEMSTAD - A guard from the SDKK prison was arrested after seriously abusing his partner. Prison director Urny Floran made this announcement.
The man is currently being held in police cells in Barber. An argument between the couple turned into a fight, in which the woman was so badly wounded that she had to go to the doctor. Later she also filed a complaint against her partner to the police for abuse, after which the man was brought before the public prosecutor.
On Friday, the detention of the SDKK guard was extended by eight days.
