WILLEMSTAD - A prisoner was seriously injured yesterday after a stabbing. The incident happened in block 6 of the Curaçao prison (SDKK).
The perpetrator wanted to take revenge on a fellow prisoner who would have stolen something. The suspect is behind bars for murdering a person during an assault.
The victim was urgently transferred to the hospital. According to authorities, the prisoner is in the intensive care unit, but his condition is stable.
