WILLEMSTAD - The way in which the Netherlands wants to organize the reform entity in Curaçao is contrary to the law, the Statute and democracy.
This is according to Prime Minister Eugene Rhuggenaath. The government of Curaçao wants to cooperate with the Netherlands. They also agree with the proposal to reform. The way in which the Dutch government wants to do it is what Rhuggenaath and his cabinet do not agree upon.
They have made a proposal to the Netherlands to gain more say in the reform entity and to agree on clearer goals in advance.
