WILLEMSTAD - In a month, the Minister of Traffic, Transport and Spatial Planning (VVRP), Zita Jesus-Leito, will start a new tender procedure for parking management in the city center.
In the meantime, with the help of an arbitration committee, it must be ascertained what the Parking Authority Curaçao (PAC) owes to the government for user fees. The General Audit Chamber of Curaçao (ARC) concluded in a follow-up investigation in November last year that it would amount to 5.5 million guilders in loss of income so far.
