WILLEMSTAD - The toilets at the bus station in Otrobanda can be used again. Minister of Traffic, Transport and Spatial Planning (VVRP) Charles Cooper reopened the public toilets together with Domain Management on Monday.
The toilets were closed for an extended period of time due to maintenance work, causing inconvenience to many people. The toilet blocks have now been repainted and several things that were broken have been repaired, including the toilet bowls. The workers also sprayed against termites and plumbing has been done.
Both the community and bus drivers can now use the toilets again. In the coming months, agreements will be made about the maintenance and management of the toilets in the long term.
