WILLEMSTAD - Public Works Implementing Organization (OW) is working on the repair of the traffic lights. Several traffic lights have been malfunctioning for a long time. The traffic lights have been repaired at the Winston Churchillweg, at Salina and at ser'i Domi.
The traffic lights at the intersection of the Dr. Maalweg and the Carcacasbaaiweg in Saliña were repaired last weekend. The Ministry of Traffic, Transport and Spatial Planning (VVRP) has announced that the problem has been solved by technicians from contractor DCG Services.
Transport Minister Charles Cooper asks road users to be careful of the non-functioning traffic lights at Plaza Horacio Hoyer and the Waaigat. These lights will not be repaired until the end of January, according to the minister.
