THE HAGUE - Member of Parliament for the Dutch VVD party Andre Bosman recently asked questions about the journalists Linkels and De Zwart who, in addition to their journalistic work, also work for the government of Bonaire.
This was brought out this week by the local Dutch newspaper Amigoe which published how much the government of Bonaire pays journalists as a communications consultant. Bosman wants to know what consequences this combination has for the reporting and articles of the journalists. The Dutch parties D66 and SP have also indicated that they want clarification on this.
In the meantime, De Zwart has announced that he will take his website Kingdoms Relationships offline.
