WILLEMSTAD - On October 16 and 17, the RBC Royal Bank is organizing a race in Curaçao. The participants can choose from different distances from one kilometer to fifteen kilometers.
The RBC Race for the Kids is a family race that anyone can participate in. Participants under the age of 18 must register with a guardian. Participating in the race is free.
The race was canceled last year due to the corona pandemic. That is why RBC Race for the Kids has organized a worldwide race this year. The race will take place next week in nineteen different countries.
In Curaçao, the money raised is donated to the Fundashon Norma i Balor (FNB). This organization offers underprivileged children of Bandabou a safe and productive place when parents are at work. The organization has an after-school program in which, in addition to academic support, they guide the children with sports, music and art.
FNB's vision is to invest in children in the early stages of their lives and guide them to become healthy and confident individuals who make a positive contribution to their community.
