RdK continues to support Red Cross

Local | By Correspondent October 15, 2020

WILLEMSTAD - Curaçao Refinery (RdK) and Red Cross have agreed that the humanitarian organization can continue using the Man Camp at Post 5 to store and distribute food packages to those in need. RdK made the building at Man Camp immediately available when Red Cross’ own facilities burnt down. RdK indicates that this was done to help the organization continue with their valuable work for the community in this time of crisis.

“RdK is happy to help Red Cross. This way another one of RdK’s properties is placed at the disposal to such a high valued cause for our community. The work done by Red Cross is extremely important and RdK will always support them,” says Marcelino de Lannoy, RdK’s Director.

Red Cross Curaçao volunteers thanked RdK for this cooperation. They pledged to continue distributing food packages with the same enthusiasm using the Man Camp as headquarters.
