WILLEMSTAD - The Ministry of Health, Environment and Nature warns consumers not to eat JIF branded peanut butter. In the United States, a number of people have become ill with the Salmonella bacteria after eating this peanut butter.
The production company JM Smucker Company has now launched a recall for peanut butter products with production numbers between 1274425 and 2140425. The ministry asks retailers to check their stock extra carefully and remove products from the shelves if necessary.
Earlier this month, the Kinder-branded chocolate and Maza-branded hummus were also recalled. A bacterium was discovered in both products.
