WILLEMSTAD - Reducing vacation days has no effect on the salary of civil servants. That is according to the Committee for Financial Supervision (CFT), in response to the plans presented by the Rhuggenaath government.
The CFT says that the government must implement fringe benefit cuts for ministers and members of parliament in exchange for corona support from the Netherlands.
The Cft says that the limitation of vacation days for civil servants only yields money if it means fewer jobs. According to the cabinet, limiting vacancies is not part of the deal with the Netherlands.
