Reforms should improve education in Curaçao, Aruba and St. Maarten

Local | By Correspondent July 15, 2020

THE HAGUE - The reforms and measures in the proposed consensus of the Kingdom Act for Curaçao, Aruba and Sint Maarten are intended to improve the education of the islands. This must be done by introducing a basic quality of education, a good connection between education and the labor market and good flow between the systems with the European Netherlands.

This is reported in the Explanatory Memorandum which was recently published by the Dutch government. Part of that approach is investing in the professionalization of the schools and catching up on underlying legislation.
