WILLEMSTAD - The Prekario Team for Carnival 2026 has announced that registration for Section A will officially begin on December 1, 2025. Prekario permits are mandatory temporary-use licenses issued by the government that allow businesses and vendors to operate during Carnival festivities — including bars, food stalls, sound systems, stands, and other commercial activities along the parade route.
Section A is divided into three subsections. During the week of December 1–5, the government will register applicants for Section A-3, which covers the area stretching from Uruguayweg to Mirlaplateweg.
