Registrations Pipita primary school are open!

Local | By Press release September 30, 2021

WILLEMSTAD - Pipita primary school has the option to let children register for the 2022-2023 academic year. it is often found difficult by parents to secure a spot at a Dutch-language primary school, therefore Pipita wants to give parents the opportunity to orient themselves and get to know the school in a tranquil environment. Children that reach the age of 4 in the academic year of 2021 can enroll in the kindergarten classes. This is a unique opportunity that few other schools on the island offer. Pipita has a limited amount of spots open for this school year and will also start after-school care in October.

“The education that Pipita primary school offers is in Dutch, but sufficient attention is paid to learning Papiamentu. The children are taught by a qualified Papiamentu teacher so that they will also become proficient in this language. The school puts a lot of focus on the children’s creative and emotional area. The students are encouraged to develop this side of them as well, and to that end, the children regularly receive classes from specialist teachers. We have stood for offering quality assurance for 25 years. The classes are small and therefore plenty of attention goes to the development of the individual student. “ Said Mariska Meulendijk, director of the school.
