WILLEMSTAD - The relocation of a detainee in the SDKK prison was done entirely in accordance with the Covid19 guidelines.
It concerns David Statie, who was given 16 years for manslaughter in the Spoonz case. Statie had been released by the judge because his cell was not in order for someone in a wheelchair.
Now it is and that is why he has been returned, but without going to quarantine. According to the management, he is in a one-man cell that is internally isolated from the rest of the prison. There is currently no corona contamination in the SDKK.
