Requesting permit to enter Curaçao no longer necessary

Local | By Curaçao government December 30, 2020

WILLEMSTAD - The government of Curaçao informs that starting January 1, 2021, Curaçao will not distinguish countries or territories as high risk with mandatory quarantine. This means that the process of requesting a permit to enter Curaçao will be eliminated. The 14-day mandatory quarantine will also be eliminated.

All those who have requested a permit through www.gobiernu.cw/reisverificatie to enter the island on or after January 1, 2021, and have already paid for the COVID-19 test at the end of the mandatory quarantine will be reimbursed.

Despite this decision, the crisis team can make a decision to restrict entry for passengers from a country, region or specific place, in case of extraordinary circumstances which could have a negative impact on the public health.
