WILLEMSTAD - A group of fourteen Curaçao residents arrived at Hato Airport on Tuesday and went straight home instead of the quarantine hotel.
That became apparent at the press conference today. Anyone who arrives must be quarantined in a hotel for fourteen days. The group was not informed and thought they could go home for their quarantine.
This led to a heated discussion at the airport with officials from the Department of Public Health (GGD). According to epidemiologist Dr. Izzy Gerstenbluth all fourteen are now in a hotel.
