WILLEMSTAD - Prime Minister Eugene Rhuggenaath would rather have had more time for the refinery negotiations.
The coming weeks are crucial, Rhuggenaath said during a press conference. This weakens the government's negotiating position. "We are dealing with time constraints and then you are not in your strongest position," said the prime minister.
Rhuggenaath remains positive as there is willingness from both sides and both Klesch-group and the government want to do everything in their power to reach a solid agreement as quickly as possible.
