THE HAGUE - In the past week to Wednesday, 280 people on the six Caribbean islands in the Kingdom received a positive test result, almost the same as the week before. This is what the Dutch National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM) writes in its weekly report.
Aruba reported the most new infections with 94 positive test results. A slight increase in the weekly figures is visible on Aruba and Curaçao.
On Sint Maarten, the numbers are actually going down. The numbers on Bonaire fell sharply last week from 414 to 345 people per 100,000 inhabitants with a positive test result. No new infections have been reported on Saba.
Last week, one new infection was reported on St. Eustatius, it concerns a patient who tested positive at the end of his quarantine period.
