MADRID - The Curacao born Jean-Julien Rojer and his Romanian partner Horia Tecau won the master tournament in Madrid.
The 27th title is again in the tennis career of the 37-year-old Curacao resident. Rojer and Tecau, three years younger, have already won eighteen times a tournament in the ATP Tour. In 2016 they were also the best on the gravel in Madrid. This year the Dutch-Romanian duo had not won a tournament yet. The duo did, however, reach the final in Rotterdam.
