WILLEMSTAD - The Rotary Club of Curaçao recently donated ANG 75,000 to GreenKidz. These proceeds come from last year's Curaçao Corporate Challenge charity event, which is organized each year by the Rotary Club of Curaçao to raise funds for charity.
GreenKidz is an organization that encourages the youth of the island to help ensure a greener and cleaner Curaçao, helping them to make their home and school environment healthier. This is done through awareness, education, and empowerment campaigns.
The organization will utilize the donation to: create a picture book for schoolchildren titled “Kòrsou Limpi”, launch an information campaign on preventing mosquito-borne diseases such as malaria, dengue, and chikungunya, and raise awareness on environmental matters in schools.
